About Me

I am committed to helping individuals realize their unique potential through a collaborative and engaging therapeutic process. I infuse humor and a sense of fun into my work, creating a warm and supportive environment for my clients.

I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, hair pulling/ skin picking, phobias, and tic disorders.  I also address the intersection of mental health and developmental disabilities, including autism and ADHD. I believe effective therapy combines a nurturing therapeutic relationship with evidence-based techniques.

Why Choose Me as a Psychotherapist?

I am committed to helping individuals realize their unique potential through a collaborative approach. I am skilled in various evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I earned my undergraduate degree from UC San Diego and my doctorate from CSPP San Diego. I completed an APA-accredited internship at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, specializing in the treatment of underserved families and children. My research has explored pediatric unintentional injuries, the impact of social media on the mental health of pre-teens, and the aging experience of older adults with autism.  My post-doctoral training was with an OCD specialist.  I have been an adjunct faculty member at CSPP, where I taught cognitive assessment.
